DRINKS & SMOOTHIES

Hey everyone.

I’ve gathered here a couple of my favorite drinks that help me throughout the day:

– BLENDED BREAKFASTS

I don’t really know if this name is a “thing” but it’s how I call my breakfast smoothies everytime I dont have time to sit down and have a proper meal – you know, when your flight departs at 3am there’s only as much energy one can have.

Usually I combine oats, bananas, frozen berries (any really – strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) and water. You can always add yogurt, milk or any other non-dairy milk to make it more creamy.

– ICED WATER

I could drink iced water for the rest of my life and never feel bored. The feeling of a shot of fresh and clear liquid that makes your body-engine starts just does it for me. I can’t tell you enough how important it is to drink water, how much of a difference you will feel in you energy levels, digestion, overall well-being… I personally aim to drink 1L in the morning and another 1L during the afternoon – I do this division because with flying sometimes you can’t count “a day” as a “24 hour block-period”

– FLESLY SQUEEZED JUICE

The one item you can always find laying around the house is oranges. They’re easy, they last even in Dubai’s warm weather and they are good for any time of the day.  Iced orange juice even better. By now you can tell I have a soft spot for iced-stuff right?

– PROTEIN SMOTHIES

It’s difficult to keep up with schedules sometimes. Pre and post workouts don’t work as easy for me because my routine is not consistent. Therefore, I can only wish that my nutrition backs up all of my body’s efforts (job-wise and workout-wise). Before workout I usually munch a banana and I tend to do this protein smoothie after my workouts consisting of frozen berries, bananas, chia seeds and rice-vegan protein.
