I love the idea of storing things in a glass containers better than any plastic one. Plastic is EVERYWHERE in our society if you stop to think about it… And for me, personally, I like doing the best I can to avoid consuming or using plastic products – you can learn more about this topic here.
Back to our Mason Jars, you can either buy them (available in pretty much all stores) or, you can help the planet and reuse some jars! The one you see here for example is a reused jar of pickles..!
- 1 onion
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 cup of lentils
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 cup of chickpeas
- dried seaweed
- sesame seeds
You’ll prepare it like:
- Cut all the ingredients to your liking and add them to your jar.
- You can use canned chickpeas but the lentils I’d recomend you cook it the day before.
- Add the dried seaweed and the sesame seeds and season it – my recomedations are mustard & huney or lemon & olive oil.
