Before Sunrise

Hey guys!

I know none of you asked for this and it’s the second time around within a month that I’m doing a beauty related blog post but because I had nothing else prepared (#honesty) I thought of bringing you my morning routine – because that’s as basic as I get apparently nowadays.

Jokes aside I am starting a newsletter and a podcast! I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for both…  The Newsletter will gather everything that goes into the blog and a little bit more of healthytopicss and recipes related content, and in  the Podcast I would like to explore more personal content… let’s see!OK so there

OK so today I’m sharing my ideal morning… this means I’ve slept well, I’m not jetlagged, I didn’t come home after a 10H flight at 8 am in the morning… it’s all good. #crewlife

[6-6.30AM] I quickly wash my face with water, put a bit of sunscreen, grab half of one banana, put on my running shoes and head out of the door before even really opening my eyes. Yes, it still takes me a while to get out of bed sometimes, even though I have been running at this time for at least 5 years now – so if you find it difficult to get out of bed sometimes, don’t put yourself down! it’s normal… I often schedule runs or workouts super early in the morning and decide last minute not to go – always listen to your body.

[7AM – 8AM] So then I quickly drive to Mamzar beach and run for about 30 minutes to one hour.

[8.30H-9.30]After this I shower and wash my hair and this is when my beauty holistic routine starts. I what my faceusing the Chamomile Silky Cleansing Oil from Bodyshop and massage my face for 30 seconds I would say. After this I wash it off and use the Himalaya Neem Face Wash and after that stage then I go and put my favorite Olive Oil Cream from Bottega Verde. Then it’s time to go to the hair! I brush my hair using my Bamboo Hairbrush (#naturesbest) while it’s still wet and I just add some I Argan oil drops to the ends of my hair and I let it dry in room temperature.

[9.30H-10H] After this is breakfast time! I run to the kitchen where I usually make a smoothie out of two bananas and a handful of strawberries with chia seeds and on the side I would have almond butter with the toast or something along those lines. Don’t forget to brush your teeth after every meal y’all! Lately I’m using my own homemade mounthwash – 1 tablespoon of sea salt, filtered water, 2 drops of Peppermint Oil, 2 drops of Tea Tree Oil.

[10H-10.30] I read about 15 minutes of a book and then I sit by my table and go through my journal. So at this point I either a stream of consciousness or a free journal entry based on what I’ve just read (#inspiration) I quickly go through my schedule and see what I have to get done and a quick way and then when I do is I lie everything down what I wish to accomplish and what I know I have to accomplish and I number all of these tasks for a priority and then after this I go and write them in a protest minute so if I have really messy room and I had scheduled as a task to get my house stuff sorted I would go and put that as my priorities and urgent so that goes into the first place and only after that I would start doing the day of the post.

[10.30-11H] I quickly go through my schedule and see what I have to get done. I use this system where I get a piece of paper and just write down what I wish to accomplish and what I know I have to accomplish and I number all of these tasks in priority, and off the day starts!

 

Doing this has helped me figure out what to do and not stress about future tasks… I have to say I might not do this every day, but I like to take the time to do it at least once a week so I can visually see what I have to accomplish…
